About Concurrent Technologies Plc
Concurrent Technologies designs and manufactures a range of computing products for use in critical embedded applications. The Company was established in 1985 with the majority of products being high-performance single-board computers (SBC’s) based on Intel® CPU technology. More recently the product range has expanded to include other Plug-in Cards in addition to SBC’s, as well as offering System level products and capability.
Designed to be used in both commercial and rugged environments, their products are used by many of the world’s leading integrators within the Defence, Security, Aerospace, Telecommunications, Medical, Transportation and Industrial markets.
They have currently four facilities: Colchester in the UK is the manufacturing centre of excellence; Theale in the UK is our primary design centre; Woburn MA is the HQ in the United States with sales and customer support capability and Los Angeles, CA is the systems design and manufacturing centre. In addition, Concurrent Technologies is supported by a worldwide network of distributors, like Parhelia, and manufacturers’ representatives to ensure that local support is always available to customers.

Based on their wide range of plug-in cards ranging from legacy CompactPCI and VME to the latest 3U VPX cards that are designed in alignment with the SOSA™ Technical Standard, they can provide systems and system integration services suitable for your next application.
Ruggedization
Ruggedization is a big part of Concurrent Technologies process. They offer suitable products for increasing levels of operating temperature range, shock and vibration including three typical operating temperature ranges plus rugged variants.
Humidity protection and conformal coatings are offered to provide reliable operation in different environmental conditions.
