Concurrent launches Apollo: Compact Edge Computing for Distributed and Portable Defence
We’re happy to announce a new rugged, compact edge computing solution from Concurrent, meet Apollo!
At its core, Apollo features a SOSA®-aligned I/O-intensive Intel® processor Plug-In Card (PIC) with an integrated XMC expansion site. Additionally, I/O can be added via a Mini-PCIe slot, while dual 1/10G Ethernet interfaces with Time-Sensitive Networking (TSN) deliver low-latency, deterministic communication for real-time applications.
Despite its small footprint, Apollo meets MIL-STD-810G, MIL-STD-704, and MIL-STD-461 standards, operating reliably from -40 °C to +55 °C.
